Wonderful experience at Keraleeyam today. The lunch buffet spread was exquisite. Every item on the menu was cooked with love and perfection. It tasted like home and ingredients were fresh. The dal, pavekai theryal, moru, thoran, fish curry (with extremely fresh fish), two types of chammanthi, beet root pickle and pappadam with red rice (there were more varieties of rice to choose from) this combination was amazing, it made our day. The kurma, chicken curry and appam also looked appetizing. The fish in butter sauce and the raw mango salad also deserve a special mention. The ada pradhaman was also perfect. Chef Arun has really taken perfection to another level.
Special mention to the friendly staff Biji and Ajesh who made the whole experience special. I really liked that we were offered the option of hot water or regular water in the true kerala culinary spirit. The view of Ashtamudi river and the ambience of the hotel adds the extra touch to the experience. Recommend this buffet to all and Happy New Year to the entire Leela Raviz team.
